16-inch? 17-inch? Shoulder width? Adjustable straps? So many options...Which is the right choice for your kids?

15" - Great for young students, PreK-1st grade, often available with fun colors and prints. Because they use less material, these small bookbags are usually at low prices, but the lowest price doesn't always mean the best choice for every student. Definitely not one-size-fits-all. 16" - Perfect for elementary age, PreK-5th grade. An excellent size for most elementary students, 16" backpacks are generally sized with young people in mind. Most 16-inch backpacks are built to fit on small shoulders and to carry lighter loads. The 16" Standard is an excellent example. Or the 16" Classic is a more ruggedly-built option with reinforced independent anchor points, triple stitching, edge-reinforcement, and cross-hatching for added strength.
17" - A great "one-size-fits-most" option. Large enough for most adults and older students, but not so large that is swallows the young'uns. If you're only choosing one size for a group of students, then this is probably the size for you. That's why we offer the 17" Intermediate backpack in options with assorted colors and patterns, so you can provide lots of variety with the same style. It's our most versatile backpack - a best seller - and it's less than $10 each! More 17" styles are also coming soon.
18"/19" - Larger sizes to fit larger students. 18" and 19" bookbags are usually recommended for middle school, high school, and college/adult students. Framed with larger straps to fit wider shoulders and greater volume to carry more material, these larger styles are also often reinforced at stress points to sustain the load. For example, check out the 18" Territory's independent anchor points for the shoulder straps and width between straps, as well bar-tack stitching for further reinforcement. Also the 18" Standard is the big brother to the 16" Standard, to provide similar quality and value for larger students.
